Size and Measurements (Bridal Gowns)

Standard Size: All bridal gown can be made to the measurements in the standard size chart below. You need to pick the largest size for the largest of your measurements. Most of the gown that is too long may easily be hemmed by your local seamstress. Alterations maybe needed for achieving perfect fit.

Tailor Made Service: All MKM Bridal gowns can be tailor made to your measurements. Please note that we recommend that you have your measurement taken by a professional seamstress.

1) Bust: Not your bra size. Take the tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement.

2) Waist: This is the smallest part of your waist.

3) Hips: The widest part of your hips.

4) Hollow to Hem: Start the tape at the hollow at the base of your neck and measure down to where you want the hem to be. Also, be sure you are wearing the same height heel you will wear on your wedding day.

5) Upper Bust: Measures around the highest part of your bust directly under the arms.

6) Bust Height: Measures from the top of shoulder to the nipple.

7) Waist to Hem: Measure from your Natural Waist to where you want the hem to be. Be sure you are wearing the same height heel you will wear on your wedding day.
